Happy Halloween

Kail, aka Dan Marino. Kail was a Miami Dolphins Football player for Halloween. He was going to be a skeleton but it was a little chilly for that outfit. Thankfully my Aunt Cookie and Uncle Johnny Ocean had sent this to Kail a few weeks ago. I doubt they thought that Kail would wear the outfit for Halloween!
Drew, aka Terry Bradshaw. Okay so here is the Halloween drama.....Drew was going to be a lion but last week when we tried it on he had outgrown it by about 4 inches so we had to get another outfit. Andy picked out this Monkey that was adorable but the first one was to small. So we went and got another one and Drew refused to wear it. He kept pulling at it and saying "off" so I knew he would never wear it out to trick-or-treat at Flat Rock Baptist Church's Trunk or Treat! Sue Sue, Andy's cousin had given Drew this shirt when we were in PA so I thought Drew could be a Steeler! He was fine with it and loved having the make-up on!

I was a kitty cat and Drew was tickled with my mask! He smiled and laughed at me the whole night!

Drew and Kail....Our little football players! Getting some treats! After we left Trunk or Treating we ran over to see Grandma and Grandpa Dudash. They were quite surprised when we rang the doorbell and were there! It was a long night but we had a lot of fun and Drew will be ready for it next year!

Drew was getting some candy! He was kinda of scared at first but then he opened right up and was all about getting handfuls of candy!

Grandpa Dudash and his boys.....Drew does not like any one to hold Kail...everyone must tend to him so he was being so sweet to try to get Grandpa to dump Kail! Little does Drew know that Grandpa loves them both!

Drew eating some Halloween candy, M&M's! He loved getting candy once he realized that it was candy he was getting! I did take a lot of it away from him and give him good treats since all he wants to do is eat from the Halloween bucket!

Mmmmmmm....these are so good! I love candy! Drew has been eating Carnation Instant Breakfast since he is so skinny. The doctor also recommended PediSure but we have not tried that yet! He is so much like me and prefers junk food and bread as opposed to meat and potatoes like his Daddy! Drew is not terribly underweight but could stand to gain a few pounds!

Kail on the move except the arm of the toy got in his way! He has a black eye from Drew pushing him off the kitchen counter top on Monday. I had Kail in his Bumbo seat and in an instant Drew had reached him and Kail was tumbling thru space. I was so upset and felt so bad but I can't be in a million places at once. I guess it also won't be his last black eye!

Drew inside his toy box that holds his blocks. For some reason he decided to climb in the box and play. Funny thing was he was stuck and could not get back out of it! He is into the MINE stage....My Mommy, My toys, Mine! It is so cute but yet so annoying too! No matter who's it is it is his! I guess it is just the way it works!

Kail smiles! He is getting so big and is so in motion. It scares me to death....what do you do with 2 kids who are mobile an running in different directions? Argh!
Some of our loyal fans like the carepages better than the blog, I am sorry but it was getting to hard to update and download pictures. One reason was I don't put as much info into this blog as I did the carepages...I just have time to update with pictures and a few words. We are doing really good...Drew is doing amazing and is right on track for a child his age. It takes a lot of hard work on my part and the 2 therapists he sees, one for vision on Tuesday's and developmental on Wednesday's. We try to keep him on a home school schedule where we are doing a lot of the same things daily with him. He is doing amazing with his vision. He does not return to the Optometrist until February so we hope to have more info on his vision then. I am struggling with Preschool - Governor Morehead has a great program but it is downtown Raleigh about an hour away and I really don't think he needs to be in a place that's primary focus is vision. I really feel like he needs to be in a mainstream environment - I mean he has done amazing so far and I push him hard, sometimes to hard! I better quite my rambling and get to bed! Have a great day and Happy November!

That is quite a shiner! Thanks for posting the pics. I wish we had been able to get up to Raleigh for the big night.
